MENTORS

One Million Young Entrepreneurs Need One Million Mentors

Join Lemonade Day! Join the Fun!

Lemonade Day is more than a Day and it's more than a Lemonade Stand.

Your child or students will love participating in Lemonade Day! Lemonade Day is a free, fun, experiential learning program that teaches youth, kindergarten to high school, how to start, own and operate their own business – a lemonade stand.

Along the way, kids acquire skills in financial literacy, goal-setting, problem solving, and gain self-esteem critical for future success, all while having FUN!  Lemonade Day offers a positive way for youth of all abilities to channel their talents.

The foremost objective of Lemonade Day is to empower youth to take ownership of their lives and become productive members of society – the business leaders, social advocates, volunteers, and forward thinking citizens of tomorrow.

How Does Lemonade Day Work?

Once a child has registered for Lemonade Day they will come to Lemonade University where they will receive a backpack with an awesome workbook or access to the "My Lemonade Day " app, this will give them the information they need to set goals and make a plan for their Lemonade Stand. At Lemmy University our  instructor will guide you and your child through all the steps you need to succeed on Lemonade Day. Lemmy University times, dates and locations can be found below and will be sent out via email after registration.

Then on official Lemonade Day all of the kids will set up Lemonade Stands in all the participating Northern Alberta towns and put their new business skills to work.

Lemonade Day kids keep all the profit they make but are encouraged by the program to Save Some, Spend Some, Share Some.  Visit our Youth page for more details.

If you're a teacher looking to bring Lemonade University to our classroom please contact us at arobinson@albertacf.com and visit our Partner Page for more details.
